Eric, I totally agree - it's a lifetime of work. It's only heavy if you are trying to get to the finish line quickly. Incremental growth and being okay with bite-sized pieces of growth is what keeps me going. Lord knows I have a long way to go, but I don't measure myself to the finish line, I measure myself looking backwards, seeing how far I've come; a mentor shared this with me, and it rocked my world and changed the way I look at evaluating myself.
